About
Associate Professor at the Department of Exact Sciences at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil - since 2014. Founder and coordinator of the AYTY - Applied Software Engineering Lab, where we conduct research, training, and develop solutions through active collaboration with the industry.
In recent years, I have supported companies in digital transformation processes, business process improvement, and software development process optimization. I have coordinated numerous projects involving companies, creating opportunities for research and training for over 170 students. My research interests include exploring how IT decisions can be improved through a business-driven perspective. All my activities are directly or indirectly linked to companies and society as a whole.
Among my hobbies, I enjoy cycling, savoring a good cup of coffee, and playing board games with family and friends. I am also a general science enthusiast. Teaching is a passion I have been practicing for over 25 years.
