Hi! I'm a lecturer at Department of Exact Sciences / Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), Brazil - Since 2014. I received my bachelor's and master's degree from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), where I did a research on software architecture for enterprise clusters integration and participated on the Business-driven IT Management (BDIM) project, in collaboration with HP Labs Palo Alto. Currently, I'm away from UFPB for a doctorate at PPGSC / UFRN (RN / Brazil).

My research is focused on technical debt management decision making, using business perspectives. This research has an active collaboration with companies, where we conduct empirical software engineering techniques to come up with results that have a practical impact on the industry.

In real life, I am married to Ayla and father of my two daughters Ana Luísa and Gabriela. I like cycling, I am a coffee addicted and science enthusiast. I also love to play modern board games with my family and friends during free time. Teaching is a passion that I have been practicing for more than 20 years.

Feel free to contact me If I can help you with anything.

Playing and collecting modern board games is my hobby. I like to play in my spare time with friends and family. I also have an Instagram account (@trilhadepontos - pt-br) where I occasionally review some board games that I have the opportunity to play.

Here are the last board games I played (source Boardgamegeek.com):
